Liberator (UK)

The British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV) was one of the world’s largest anti-vivisection organisations. During the 1980’s, they were happy not just to acknowledge, but to actively celebrate the actions of the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). They even allowed the ALF Supporters Group to share desk space in their offices. The BUAV has since rebranded as Cruelty Free International, and has long since distanced itself from its radical past.
